On Feb 5th, SpaceJunky did a show for Warner Bros Entertainment on their Gossip Girls Sim. Its an awesome build and the gossip girls showed they know the meaning of the word party with a full sim, and more waiting to get in.

On the 2nd Feb Space Junky played at Sublime Goddess for Imbolc,which is a festival of the Irish calender-cross quarter day on the solar calender, halfway between winter and the solstice and spring equinox.Highly celebrated amongst Gaelic and other Celtic cults.It was dedicated to Goddess Brigid in the Christian period and was adopted as St Brigids Day.Brigid was the goddess of healing, poetry and smithcraft.She also is represented by fire and purification. As seen in the rituals by Subline Goddess for Imbolc.The lights of the candles represent warmth and increase power of the sun over the months.It was amazing for all walks of sl came together for this important day. All feeling the symbolism of Sublime Goddess Imbolc Day-with purity, growth, renewal as well as the reunion of the Goddess as well as the God,fertility and dispending of the old and making way for the new.
Space Junky bought to life Imbolc, SJ music touched souls bringing to life the music, through state of the art effects and pyrotechnics co ordinated and colours especially for Imbolc to represent the colours and energy of it,whites,pinks,red, greens, yellows and browns.Space Junky bought to life the goddess and you could feel a certain energy and presence during the show,Subline Goddess is a mythical place where the spiritual realm can be felt, where our good friend Adriane Homewood and her amazing team can teach, share and want everyone to be part of this amazing journey.A sim to go check out as well as take in one of Adriane Homewoods amazing lectures.

Splitsville Opening!!!!

Space Junky recently played the opening for Splitsville Bowling in SL based on the RL bowling chain,bringing to life an amazing eclatptic ambience of one of the oldest games in sports which dates back over 5000 years. As discovered by the 1930's anthropologist Sir Flinders Petrie. It is played in over 90 countries and is popular and universally recognised especially in SL., where the hop, swank 40/50's retro decor bring to life the dimley lit alleys for conversations as well as meeting places for avies to come from all over the globe to compete or just have fun, test there skills and attach the hud and see if you can raise that heart beat in SL, aiming for that infomous strike, leaving behind the bling and AO's.
At the opening of Splitsville Space Junky came close to crashing the sim, the house was full and the Splitsville Ampiteatre came to live, as big as any opening with a state of the art stage, lighting and an amazing production crew who bought this all to life. Space Junky played music from there album "Resident Alien", every avie in the house was dancing and there was a amazing cosmic energy and the feel of a rl concert there in SL.Afterwards Loch Harlam spinned some tunes and bought his Riff and Playboy style to Splitsville where the avies partied for long into the hour as well as some avies had a go at bowling.
Space Junky finished with a spectacular fire work show, which lit up the stage and the band just as bright as the lights on the Sydney Harbour bridge on a New Years Eve or lights brighter than the Melbourne Cricket Ground.The music set the scene for the game as well as for the serious bowler.Splitsville is one place in world you should visit and bring friends or a loved one and have a go."It may strike you"

Menithos Fundraiser
On December 8th we did a fundraiser for Menithos a beautiful sim created by Dannon Robbiani. Since then Menithos has changed its direction and is a totally new build but more about that later...here's some pics from the gig.
